Wall Climate Control Concept
The requirements of particular projects for providing climate control to the rooms using the partition system were the stimulus for Strähle to offer a concept for optimum climate control of office spaces. Traditional air conditioning systems are expensive both to install and to maintain. These relatively high costs are no longer acceptable on the market. Typical office sizes have also changed, in parallel with the shift in prices. New room concepts with, for instance, axis widths of 1.35 m are necessary in order to achieve optimum exploitation of the office space. The idea is to integrate all those components that used to be installed behind the suspended ceiling into the room's partition walls. The advantages are as follows:- This system guarantees a high level of well-being while generating low air velocities in the rooms and low pressure drops.
- All requirements in the thermal insulation regulations of 1995 are satisfied. The servicing costs for the duct system no longer apply.
- The costs involved in building a suspended ceiling are no longer required, and the height of each story is reduced.
